I finally pulled the trigger on a bigger TB and bought the SE 50mm with the 4.9 injectors.  Will probably send it to HPI in the future for the port and polish work.  The idea is to see if the next restriction in the big v-twin pump is now the heads and TB (see my sig for current build and dyno section for current dyno chart).  Currently around 100HP/100TQ and want to get between 110-120.  Headwork and TB only for now.  Maybe a cam change later but not yet.

Severel HTT members would like to see a before and after to see what the TB/Heads would add to the build.  I would too.  I will get a dyno run after the install on the same dyno to measure the results.

Now the question: Does the SE 50mm TB match up to the stock heads?  By that I mean is the port diameter the same?  Will it bolt up?  Does it require port matching for machining/casting mismatch?  The reason I ask is that the 2009 SE catalog says for 06 and later SE performance heads.  It does not say anything about stock heads.

No I do not think so. I am sure it is a 1.80 intake port. Stock is something like 1.610

It will bolt right up to the 06 or 07 stock heads and match the port.
that said I am not sure I would go that route if it were mine, well I didn't and went to an HPInc.
