Hey Guys. I've read how to check the end play on the rear wheel whith dry bearings.Question is should you feel any side to side play when its full of grease mounted on the bike ready to roll?

Lew

Yes, ever so slight.  The range is .004-.018", you will feel it when it's on the loose side.

If you set your end play in the wheel bearings and are still feeling movement in the rear wheel (off the ground or not) that could be an indicator of other problems. Loose spokes, loose or worn swing arm bearings or that if you just put new bearings and races in, that the race was not fully seated at install.
The endplay on your wheel bearings is so slight that you would hardly notice that the bearing moved while pushing it in and out. It is not decernable at all once the wheel is mounted (if set properly)
