16 by 5.5 inch wheel w/ MU85 tire

Has anyone tried this combination with their 08 and older touring bike?  Where any modifications necessary.

Will not work with old style brake calipers, has to have brembo's.  Have to go 18" with old style calipers

Please elaborate.  Why the Brembos?  What won't fit about the stock calipers?  Going to an 18 is what I am trying to avoid.

When I went to a 180 rear, Jerry at Hogpro told me the caliper would not fit simply because your moving the flange of the wheel out 1" on each side and the brembo's are not as tall as the old style. you probably could go to an after market rear caliper and use the 16". but when I did it the selection of rear tires was minimal , so I went with 18" 180/55ZR18.   xzo.
