SE A/C kit

My daughter's bike 2011 Iron, her second bike. She has had it 9 months now & wants more power, ( yep my kid ).
She brought a SE A/C kit over last night & wants help or me just to check her work out on installing it. Looks easy to install. My question is, has any one installed just the A/C with stock pipes & not taken in for re tune? Directions say ECM has to be re calibrated, I would not think it necessary, but I do not want to burn the motor up either.

Not needed unless doing both AC/Pipes.

  Put the SE A/C on, after much reading went ahead and ordered & installed a set of X14iEd from nightrider also. Daughter is very pleased, noticeable power increase & throttle response, will be checking fuel mpg to see how it was affected.
