I meant a separate section where you could post single pictures or even albums.....

You can put them on Photobucket and use them here without using this site's storage space. Here's a quick tutorial.

Doc, the image in your post is just a thumbnail.  If you click on it, you go to the original attachment.  Most sites run by private parties, even photo sites, don't allow attachments at all, as that eats up the available bandwidth very quickly.  The limit posting pictures to images linked from the poster's online storage, because just linking ti the image doesn't hog HTT's bandwidth allocation.  This is something which HV and the others will have to decide on.  It gets pretty pricey to pay for unlimited storage and bandwidth, and they're trying to keep this place free (donations are nice and I made mine) and free from advertising.  Allowing each post to have over 600kb of attachments, on a site which could have 20,000+ members, eats up storage fast.

If you've hosted your images online, you can link them here by using the "Insert Image" button above, like this:

If you make it a thumbnail, you are using up the storage space here at the forum.
If you use a hosting site, like Photobucket, you are not using any storage space here at the forum and it will continue to run quickly.

Just a thought.

May be a tutorial section (or a "how to" thread) on posting pics, site navigation, etc so as to introduce old (and new) members to the functionality this new site....which I think is great.
