Lifter block alignment ??? 95 RK.

Is there a way to align the lifter blocks without the tool ??

Asked this same question a week or so ago. Most people use em. Some people make their own using epoxy or a plumbing ferrule to taper a regular screw of the correct size and thread. A couple people said they line them up without using anything. Just scroll down the threads until you see one from me titled "Lifter Block Alignment"

I am going to pick up a set as this is the first time I have had the top end off the Heritage and am not sure of the consequences if the tappet bore is not lined up perfectly with the cam lobe. I mean how much can you be out without creating problems? Hate buying special tools as they just sit for 99% of the time but rather be safe than sorry in this instance.
