New throttle cable install issue 02 FLHR

Installed a new throttle cable (barnett) today. It's +5 over stock for my Wild 1 RK II Bars. There is no play in the adjuster. Seems like there should be more cable exposed at carb side (Mik 42). It will work for my ride this weekend. But I think I better call Barnett Monday morning to see if they sent me the wrong one.

Any ideas why I don't have enough cable to be able to use the adjuster?

Nothing is binding.
