and if you go with HD paint it would be #98609BOA for a quart of lava red sunglo and 98609DH for a a quart of vivid black and 98609EK for a quart of clear and 99825-02 for the urethane activator.  If you have pinstripes  I believe they are medium red and pale gold which would be 98601CCX for the red and 98600JI for the pale gold.

the PPG formula will allow you to buy the paint in 1 pint, more than enough to do a bike, at WAY less cost than if you buy it from the dealer.
But you will still need reducer, clear, and activator...it adds up fast!

PPG is the OEM supplier to HD  btw

seattledyna ... a couple weeks ago you mentioned some plugs you use to temporarly cover speaker mount holes in a tourpak ... what are they called, who makes them, I tried using some black plastic plugs I got at hardware store but they were not made for material as thick as the fiberglass and have a tendency to pop out

Thanks ... OFB

they are made by a hardware supplier that is popular with automotive repair shops, the Company is "W&E", most auto paint supply stores carry their line in small prepacked amounts or a box of 50 or more.

The longer ones are great for the tourpac holes and most other holes you need to plug for a nice finish

I think the W&E # for the long ones is 2850, (I will correct this when I get to the shop if I'm wrong)
