Misses with headlights on

Hi Group, Have a friend with a 89 1200 Sporty that misses and pops with the headlights on. I'm thinking the lights are pulling the ignition power down too low. Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this bike that they can send me, so I can do do some power checks. Any other ideas appreciated Thanks, Jim

Do you have a bike that you can turn off the headlight?
When the headlight is on, is it dim like it's lost voltage? Blinking?
Sorry, I don't have a schematic for wiring.
Just need more info before you dig into the wiring so we can help.

I would check alternator output. This sounds like you soon will crash rotor magnets and stator, due to worn bearings and clutch hub/clutch gear splines.
