Back on the road

Got my 83 fxwg back on the road. Nothing major,new front tire,chain,fuel lines. It's amazing how much soul the older bikes have. They make you feel sooo good.

I have had my 1976 FXE since 1978. It lasted through 2 wives and several girlfriends. There is an 04 XLCH Roadster in the driveway to keep it company, easy to start and runs good but no sign of soul, an effective bug killer but not as many grins per mile. I always take the FXE when there is some serious thinking and riding to be done.
