I have noticed the right side of my handlebars on a 50 fl are slightly bent down. It appears to be bent at the first bend from the risers on the right side.  :emsad: I have removed them from bike along with  all cables and wires. Anyone have much luck striaghting handlebars and your techniques???? Use press, hammers, cheater pipes, heat, cutting torch  or what??  Thanks Jim

I have stripped them clean of cables, wires, etc, Put down cardboard on the floor, roll the rear tire of my truck on one end and start bending with a big pipe till I get it to match.

If you heat them you will blue the chrome.  Clamping them and bending cold should work if you don't hav eto bend them much.

Packing them full of sand before attempting to bend them will help to prevent them from kinking.
