HD mini tach kit voor modelyear 2009 Road King

Somehow it seems that the minitach kit (example partnumber 68953-04) does NOT work anymore on the newest Road King models. Does anyone have experience here? When so please confirm that it's right or when possible show some tips how to get the mini tach kit working. The HD P&A catalog doesn't rule out the newest Tourings for this specific accessory, so in a way it should be possible to put one on.
