I’m doing a swingarm conversion (Sta-bo III) on a 00 RK and I thought I had the correct rear pulley but now I’m thinking maybe not. I’ve got a 08 swingarm, wheel with 1” axle and I intend to drill out the caliper and purchase the correct spacers. I want to be able to use the narrower belt so I can use the wider (05 â€" 08) rear tire.

I bought a 04 70T pulley (40117-00) which I thought would work but looking at the part number for my 05 70T (40217-04) it appears maybe not. Does anyone know what the difference is between the 2 years and can the same tranny pulley be used regardless of the belt width?

Thanks,
Rick
