The following link is J&P Cycle's page for manuals. You will have to scroll down through the list to find the one you want. Factory Shovelhead manuals come in two flavors. FLs and FXs. The FX manual is split into two - Early '78 and before and Late '78 on. I'm not sure about the FL manual. When you buy the service manual, it is also a good idea to buy the parts manual. The parts manual not only gives you the part numbers, it also gives you drawings of the parts breakdown (i.e. fork tube internals, trans internals, carburetor internals, etc.).
