springer front end queston

ANybody know if the front end from a 2001 springer will just bolt on a 1948 pan?  :nix:

I believe it will.  HTT member Robin has put a new springer on his '67 shovel if I recall.  He can probably tell you if there are any hitches.  Try sending him a PM.  I don't know if he checks in here on a regular basis.

i put a 95 springer on a 73 no problems

yes they will, but they are two inches longer. The only diff. in springers are inline and offset. jw

I am sure there is not a lot of issue making it fit, the 48 would not have the same style of neck lock as the modern one, so it will be a good idea to really look at the range of fork movement you get due to possibly different forkstops.
