A Question for Bike Painters.

 I am interested in buying a used fairing for my 2003 Ultra.
A picture is attached.
Can that custom paint be removed without damage to the factory paint?
  I hope the guy who painted it doesn't see this.

yes it can, just mask the anniversary stripe and black, repaint the silver covering up the artwork, then clear the whole fairing, will look good as new
