My boss has a 1981 Sporty (full custom in a rigid frame) & he is having problems with the clutch pull in heavy traffic.

He is kinda weak as he has had cancer treatments lately, & really wants to lighten the clutch pull.  Since neither the AMP or the VPC systems seem to be compatible with this year bike I'm not sure if there is a solution to this problem??

The cable is well lubed/correctly adjusted etc.  Is there any way to lighten the pull on this bike??

There was a hydraulic clutch conversion available, but I see the website is inactive.  Machinist Mike in Penn. was making them, but I don't have his contact info.

if clutch has been modified, make sure ya put stock springs back in--should be easier to pull lever
