Reddog,
Nice pick up!  Stone Cold Blue....The rarest of the FXR2's, 3's and 4's.  Will your first mod be the EVL-3010 cam install?

Reddog74usa

Thanks fellas, I really didn't expect to find this FXR 2, not at all. Of course one of the FXR's has to go. Kinda sucks as I just got the 93 the way I wanted it. I really like the 93 FXLR as it runs and rides great and is more suited as a daily commuter bike. The FXR 2 is a bit fancy for the likes of me however I have to say it is one sweet ride. Man, it looks like a piece of jewelry on 2 wheels. That color is even better in person. One of these is gonna git sold and I'm leanin towards keepin the FXR 2. I did sell my black 94 FXLR that had like 1700 miles on it and regretted it ever since and don't want to make that mistake again. I sold it because I bought an 08 FXDC and thought it was a good move. BIG MISTAKE. I couldn't wait to sell that thing and get back on an FXR. I like takin the turns so my first mod may be the suspension with a set of Progressive 440's on the rear and their springs in the fork tubes. Oh, yeah I just snapped up a new W6 cam off ebay as I have been wanting to give one of them a try. I do not know why but every one of the CVO FXR's I have ridden are exceptionally smooth both in ride, engine operation and shifting of the transmission. IMHO the FXR models are the best all around bikes H-D ever made. That wheel made all the difference eh

Reddog:  Super nice bike.  I've only seen one blue "2" in person and like the red ones, that color really lights up in the sun.  Really good find.

Nice!  Actually really nice of the PO to leave it basically un-ridden and preserved for you for 15 years.   Really, 35 miles a year!  To each their own..............  Mark
