Thanks to Andy and everybody I've got the old lady fixed up. Cheap shocks (worked great), exhaust, worked the handlebars out, registration, mc permit, insurance. Pretty impressed with the "08 883 and  just wanted to say thanks for the help.

I am sorry, but what was wrong with the machine? Glad to hear that you got it all worked out though. Are you going to post any pictures??

Nothing wrong with machine just had questions before picking it up and had to lower it, and get handlebars for a smaller person.

Glad it all worked out well. They are really great bikes - all sporties, but particularly the rubber mounts. Kinda like a slightly smaller FXR IMHO to ride, if I had a chance I'd like one of those 883 irons with a few trick upgrades...
