Welcome Vince, I almost had a Chief way back when but ended up with a Panhead. Don't know if I missed anything or not.

   Thanks for welcome JS.....Not sure if you missed anything.....Guy I got it from had chopped it, 21 over girder  and suicide shift that ran parallel to primary.....At any stop I had to lean bike to right side to shift it....It ran pretty good for a 3 speed.....It was a great bike to learn to ride scooters.....Vince
