Front caliper pin boot instsllation question?

Hey Evo Gearheads:

Hoping your 2012 new year is off to a great start.
I need a bit of help on which way my front caliper pin boot HD part # 44054-83 installs.  One end of the boot is tapered to a smaller end. There is a grooved shoulder on the "Threaded bushing that the "free end" of the pin boot is to seat end.
I have the SM, PM, and numerous drawings in catalogs, all look the same, not enough detail to help me solve my install problem.
Appreciate the help always,  thanks in advance for any speedy replies.

The small end with the lip goes inboard and fits into the caliper body, the larger end goes next to the hex head on the "Threaded bushing".  Let me know if I can assist further.
