I just bought a set of those metal saddle bag brackets that are used to stiffen my saggy bags. They are for my Heritage. Any suggestions on how they install?????

A brand name would help.

There are a number of kits out there, but most of them are plastic, not metal.
YMMV

Generally they come with instructions. At least the ones that I installed from http://www.gotsaggybags.com/ did.

Okay,  I should have known better. I bought a cheap ($10.00) fix from J&P Cycle. It's just a metal bar that's supposed to spread the bags. It's junk. Not happy with J&P for putting it in their book.

how much was  shipping?  I ordered something small from J&P,  cost more to ship than the parts.  Lost my business, cause they cant handle shipping.

new price of shipping before ordering was final,if to much  why order

I've been running them on my '07 Heritage since new, and the bags are still perfect. Very simple system, easy as hell to install, and sure can't be beat for 59 bucks!
