Just a thought...

I'm sure most of us have that Pewter Panhead Motor that Harley put out.
HOWEVER, how many (if any) of us have the Pewter Motor with the serial number that matches our bike?
I have to believe none of us do.

I know that I would love to find mine.
So with that said, I'm looking for Pewter Motor # 6312. I know, good luck.

I HAVE Pewter Motor #8398.
I will sell/barter it only to the person that has that serial number on their Panhead.

Sounds crazy?    We've done crazier things, I'm sure.

So go look at your motor on the shelf, on your dresser, or wherever you keep it.
And let's start posting what serial numbers that we have.

Maybe one of us can get lucky.
