For the oil vent line, there are two bungs near my cams.

One is connected to the cam side cover.  Because of its elevation, it seams like this bung would be the vent line connection.

The other drains the cam chamber about the same elevation as the pump inlet screen.  This one is mounted to the left side case.  Not sure what this one is for.  When I bought the bike this one was plugged intentionally.  But what is this one for?

Thanks, Mike

the vent line is 1/4inch and the supply and return lines are 3/8inch.the plugged line must be the vent(the bike cant run with a plugged return)does your oil tank have three connections?Salty

The engine has 4 bungs, as follows:

1 Top of transmission case behind rear cylinder, routed to oil filter then oil reserve tank.
2 Rear of pump, inlet to pump, routed from oil reserve tank.
3 cam cover, small fitting, acting as vent to tank
4 cam case, large fitting, same elevation as pump screen, was plugged by previous owner, not sure where this goes.

Tank has 3 bungs, it is the rectangular tank style.

Thanks.

just a guess could it be the chainoiler in the rear or the breather in the front?Salty
