I am in the process of putting a 120" Ultima engine in my 98 bagger.  Ultima engine came with 46mm Mikuni carb.  Will stock throttle cables work, or will i need to buy longer/shorter ones?
Thanks
Steve

Stock '98 Harley cables should work with the Mik 46.
Post your tuning adventures, they are always informative...

Sorry, i had a typo, it is a 45mm Mikuni

Steve- Actually, I thought you meant the HSR48. Anyway, the installation manual I have from Mikuni is for the HSR42 and the HSR45. The manual states "The HSR carburetor uses stock 1990 and later Harley-Davidson cables." So you shouldn't have any problems with the '98 cables.
If you don't have the Mik installation and tuning manuals, they can be downloaded, or I can send them to you.
