Well Crap, i stated my 97 1200 with S&S E carb after about 1 year rest. Started right up no problem except gas is running out of the carb at a disturbing rate. Where do i start?  :chop:

Inlet needle and seat. Or a stuck float maybe...

Try tapping the float bowl with the fuel 'on'.
Use the plastic end of a screwdriver to tap it.
A couple of sharp hits might reseat the float.
