I know the cast pop-up pistons say 10.25cr.What CR. would I have with forged hi comp pistons with stock 06 heads? Enough to run SE 251 cams with no head work? And last, Is the forged worth twice as much as cast pistons for a motor that only turns 6200?
Bike is an 06 FXSTSI with Stage II BB Kit with air & exhaust         As always TIA      Coff 06 ; 8)

If it is not detonated cast are fine, forged would not be a cure all for that scenario just take a little more abuse, but in an 06 103" with stock TB and heads I would not expect much to be happening after 5,500 so why push it.
Don't know the piston volumes for the 103" domed SE pistons so can't help there.
