I was just wondering if anyone has had issues with hot spots with the grooves?, Once again gonna mess with something thats not broke.Any info on length ,depth and overall shape. I have been to several websites, any personal input would be good.

Move this to the Twin Cam board and it will clog up the bandwidth. Over there is SPOG
Society for the Promotion of Grooves.
:teeth:
When you get over 100 posts you wil realize they do help smooth out low speed manors especially when high overlap cams are used, high compression, and they are the most effective with flat top pistons. The two grooves in the squish deck will allow lower octane fuel to work and leaner mixtures.
Don't expect a power jump.

The grooves on the bottom photo are closest to what is done to the HD TC or EVO heads .080 deep tapered back to 0 just in front of the head gasket line.
