I've gone through the timing tables, made 4 recordings and have been knocking the areas that have spark knock down till they are gone. So what I have now is of course to be expected, variation in timing values from the front to the rear cylinder. In my case, I have a couple of areas that have up to 6.5 degrees difference, some in the 1.5 to 3.5 range, most are 0.25 to 1.0.

So I realize that we're tuning each cylinder separately, and that is accomplished by monitoring both separately, as well as together as far as output of the power. My question is, how much variance is too much? And should I make an attempt to equalize the values in any way? Does the variances effect the power to the ground if they're to large?

Thanks
