Hi All,
I picked up a "F" on Saturday so am just getting used to it.
Its a 2010 with only 450 miles on the clock.
Bike ran awsome when I picked it up, done 200 miles. Now all of a sudden its started surging.
I could run at 30mph on the flat quite comfortable, changing down to second on inclines. Now theres bad surging both in second and third at 30mph, also if you rev the bike at a standstill, keeping the throttle open and constant around 2500rpm you can hear the revs increase and decrease.
Any ideas anyone ?
Thanks,
Jeff

This is a typical lean tuned condition from the factory . Some worse than others and it can be worse on some days then other days too. If the mixture is richened slightly in this area it will smooth out. My box stock 07 96" was a miserable prick of a thing in the same riding conditions you speak of for the same reason. Once richened a tad it was smooth. I can predict with certainty there will be some form of a tuner in your future.
