Baisley pro street heads with hybrid intake ports, all bore 107" with JE 20* pistons. Mostly just bar hopping, going to buy a road glide soon and want to freshen up the motor in my dyna.

Whats that put your compression at? Why not go 117"? I personally like the T-Man cams. They are very quiet and make the power.

Between the 2 I'd pick the 9bg unless you want to mess with the exhaust pipes and don't mind the exhaust noise.. The Intake close and exhaust open are about the same between the 2.. the difference is there is way more overlap on the 62g.. It could help with the right exhaust buy I'd expect that it would narrow the power band and  exhaust needs to be pretty free flowing.. It could make for an interesting compare.

Compression can be set anywhere, going to freshen up my existing 107" . Have a nice 4" stroke darkhorsed crank in there that does'nt need messed with. Like running the bike up top and am considering using it for some weekend warrior drag racing. Max, I felt the same way until I saw texchops 117" using a 68G. Thought maybe the 62 would work well in a smaller cube build. Currently running 408-6 cams, like them alot but am willing to trade some torque to move the curve to the right.

Isn't TX running a Wergner pipe?

You are correct Max, I was going to try a pipe from Dragos and see how it would compare . I figure it can't be to far behind a Wegners performance and I have 10 less cubes than TX. At half the cost of a Wegner . I definitely wanna stay at 107" cause the crank is darkhorsed and cases machined for timkens. The W9b and 662-2 have been top picks on my list until I saw the W62-6 . Currently have 408-6 chain drive but really want to go gear drive. I like hearing everyones opinions on here, there are soo many great builders and so much knowledge for a newbie like me. Let me know what you think and why .

I like Hillside's reply...since you are using Baisley for your heads, I would think Baisley would know best what sort of cam they were targeting.

I will definitely discus cam selection with Baisleys. Just trying to pick the builders brains on here and thought maybe someone has tried one of theses combinations in their bike.
