whats the best solution??
TimeSert  OR Helicoil ???
i think both can be done without disassemble the head ( front )

Timesert will work better as you will be removing the sparkplug and re-installing new one`s every year. helicoils are not good for that application.

Time Sert ...

... with Helicoil you will have to break off the bottom tab that is used to instal it ... what will you do when the tab falls inside the cylinder upon removal?

Just my 2 cents.

Hi Sniper, i forget the tab, well remenbered,
so i going  to TimeSert,
thanks for both

The head should come off....to do the job properly.....and not only that....you will end up with different volumes for the CC level between both cylinders as well....so if you care about that some additional effort should be done.  Not to mention that the stripped threads may have left some debris on top of your piston.

Time Sert is definitely the way to go, no questions asked on that decision.

Don't ask me how I know.

Hi evo58,,A better option is to
tap for 14 mm spark plug

Swede,is a option but i think i go to TimeSert,
in the past, i fixed one cylinder stud from my STD case,
was a very nice and easy job,
so on the spt head i will use the same...
thanks for all
