Timer cable/speedo cable route?

Trying to figure out the route of both cables on my 50fl. Does one or both or none go through the 'loop' of cross over fuel line? (I have put a cut rubber hose on the line as the cables have been rubbing on fuel line). Right now mine are not through it.
