rear brake

im having some trouble with my rear brake locking up and not releasing what do i do?  i had to take one of the bolts out of it for it to loosen up enough to ride. I NEED HELP PLEASE!!!

what bolt did you remove?
have you taken out shoes and checked over?
springs?
jam nut on brake rod??

missing all sorta stuff to maybe help

when i got it it had a bolt where the bleeder valve goes i took one of the bolts out that hold the caliper on and that freed it up i havent been able to get the other bolt out to take it completely off ill have to get an easy out to do that because its stripped but once i get it off i have no idea what i should be looking for that would make it seize up

i have a replacement bleeder to put back in just have to get it tapped to the bigger size but i didnt know if that was what was causing the problem or not this is my learning bike basically ive been fixing up

ah, a iron head with a disc on back .
without a year mentioned i was thinking drum

in my own experiences with locking brakes i have found causes like a defective master cylinder,contaminated brake fluid and lastly look for caliper piston corrosion.moisture in the fluid screws up the operation.Salty
