New bike owner from Tucson... Hello

At 49 years old, I just bought my very first bike. After taking my MSF course and practicing on a Sportster, I just bought a new 2012 Super Glide. I am happy to be a rider.

Welcome to motorcycling.  A couple of tips:

1.  Buy Proficient Motorcycling and More Proficient Motorcycling.  They're books and they'll save your life on the street.
2.  Assume the other guy will do the wrong thing until you have evidence to the contrary. 
3.  Wear all the gear all the time, even if none of your buddies do.  And send me a note if you do, because you probably won't. 
4.  Learn to ride in the rain.  But once you do, ride either in the rain or at night, but not in the rain at night.
5.  Find out what makes you panic and practice, practice, practice until it no longer makes you panic.
