Does anyone know what the hp is on a stock older sportster? On a 1200.

I'm thinking it's somewhere in the 65-70hp range.

My 98 is pulling 69.4 and my 2000 is pulling 69.14. I was just wondering what others were getting with their's.

well, they look to be in the right range.  Where they both factory 1200's? or conversions? The heads are the limiting factor in the '03 and earlier factory 1200's, and so is non-worked 883 heads.
