Will newer fork lowers fit my 97 Road King?

Just checking if newer lower forks off of a Road King will fit my 97 Road King? I want to have sealed bearings, and a later model front wheel and brakes. Any info? Thanks, Doug

yes will fit with the stuff you mentioned but some aftermarket company has sealed bearing kits for your wheels look into it

Do they have 1" sealed bearings to fit the earlier wheels?

I thought that the earlier ones like mine were 3/4 inch and the late ones were 1 inch. I have found a set of late model lowers (2006) and would put them on. Am I correct?  Thanks

Yes you mare correct. Yours uses a 3/4" axle and the '00 and later use a 1" axle.

You will also need to change your calipers to the new style, and you will loose the cable driven speedo if that model has one, I'm not sure.
