I've got a '06 FLHX built using a PC III.  Need to extend the rev limit to 6200.  Don't I need to acquire the special adapter to plug in when doing this?  Years ago, this is the way to do it.  Or else you could send it into Dynojet for a flash for the same $50.

I owned the adapter long ago but sold it.  Oppps.

Thanks

It depends on the build date/firmware level of your PC III USB, on units build later than about 2006 you can simply go into the PC software and hit CONTROL-F and it opens a function box and you can check Rev Xtend 6200 and it will raise the rev limiter.
