My cousin has one on her XL and I have a friend that has one on a FXST No trouble.He is a stand up guy here in Ks I wouldnt have any thoughts about not buying one.He can put it on for you if your close to him.A very well made product.You can keep your parts when you install and then if you ever want to go back or sell it will all go back stock.
