Route 66

We are starting to plan our summer road trip. This year we are wanting to do Rout 66 , We will be leaving from Missouri on May 26th and would like to stay on as much of RT. 66 as possable. Any must see , Must eat at places?

Too many to list them all.  I like the western part of the road.

Winslow, AZ is one where I wished I had stopped for a picture, but didn't.

In Belemont AZ off I-40 there's a Harley dealer...That section from there down about a mile and a half is part of the old 66...At the end on the left is the motel where the shot the movie Easy Rider...The scene where they pull up to the motel and the vacancy sign was changed ...The poster is still in the motel window for the movie..they were doing work on motel 2 years ago when we were there..
