When i first bought the above, I installed the FLHX shocks.  Not to happy with bottoming out with 34-40 psi, one up.  Was thinking about using a lowering kit and the stock shocks.  Anyone try this kit? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=170301181718&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNARL:MOTORS:1123
TIA.

I had the White bros .  brackets on my 01  classic ,stock shocks . Ride was too harsh.  Someone  here ?? recomended the T Jproducts brackets , they have a  more straight up and down mounting postition and worked pretty good. I just ordered  a set  of progressive 418 ,lowered                        . http://www.tj-products.com/index.php   ..........bladerunner

I have the exact same kit for my 08.   I only weigh about 175lbs., and lowering the bike 2 inches, I would rub on the big bumps.   I took it off.   I think I will try again lowering 1 inch.  I don't know what will happen if I get it packed down, or if I take a passenger.   I haven't had the kit that long but this is what I have found.

Looks like a might put the Stock shocks back on and deal with it.  I was under the assumption that the lowering brackets gave the same travel, using stock shocks by lowering the mounting height.

The FLHX shocks are not bad, maybe I need to swap out the oil, any recommendations?
