I had lunch there about 30 years ago and it seemed like a pleasant enough place. They banned the bikers and now skin?  Good grief.  Maybe the city fathers need a hobby beyond being control freaks.  http://www.charleston.net/news/2009/feb/10/skin_baring_might_bring_ticket_arrest71197/

Bikeweek there will still go on, we will just stay out of MB city limits. Most of the fun places are out of city limits anyways.

Like Namvet said, Myrtle is still on, but not in the city proper.
A lot are talking Virginia Beach instead. and points south.
Everyone wants to change the world but, no one wants to change the toilet paper.
