Badlander Seat

Can someone tell me what years this seat fits? All I know is it is a Badlander seat that fits a Sporty. I bought it from a pawn shop. I recovered it in Ostrich vinyl and black with orange stitching. The local dealership said it fits sportys from 83-03. 20 years? Does that sound right to anyone? Thanks for the help?

Hard to say without looking under it
seats have the same mounting arrangement from '82-'03, but the '96 up seats have a shorter nose as the stock tank was a little longer. But I have found that the longer seats do fit the longer tanks, they just touch it.
the front mount should be a slot which a rearward facing tongue goes in, and the rear mount is a fender screw through a hole.
