Does anyone know of a way to lower the shock on an FLX?  I find short shocks for the XL's and lowering brackets for everything but.  I have a 78 FL.  Thanks.

Lucky,
I've tried a set of 11" shocks on my '82 FLHC.  Made it too low (frt also lowered).  Found that out the hard way in a turn.
Every day, I'm one day closer...  WTF!  I'm not near 70 yrs. old!

Ya your 82 FLHC is a totally different bike.  11' shocks on this bike work great.  I have mocked it up at 10 and it sits perfect.  Unfortunately there is no 10" shock and no lowering kit I can find.  I will likely Fabricate my own bracket but I was hoping to find something already done or a 10" Shock
