I bought a 21" rim off ebay because the seller said it fit a 3/4" axle.  When i got it and measured it I found it to be 1".  He wont take it back so I was wondering can i just get a different set of bearings put in the hub or is there an axle that would fit my old wide glide front end but measure 1" OD on the axle?

Thanks

I would think you can come up with bearings to fit. Local auto parts store can help if you have the dimensions, od id, thickness.

If you have a bearing house in your general area, remove the bearings from the wheel and bring them with you. Tell the counter guy what you need for an ID and he can fix you up. I've had great luck getting the right bearing for the job this way when doing special projects. It probably woudn't hurt to bring the axle with you as well.

Hope this helps.
