Can anyone refresh my terrible memory, and tell me what size socket I need for the clutch hub nut on an 89 softail? I thought it was like 1 3/16"   Appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks,   2glides

I was thinking that these were actually metric... I too think it is 1 3/16 that I alwasy use, but believe the nut really may be metric.

Oh... yeah.... LEFT HAND threads. lol

30 MM is same as 1 3/16" -- the 1 3/16" socket is sometimes hard to find

I got mine at a pawn shop for like $3.  Got the socket to make the sproket nut tool out of at the same time.

1-1/8" I just removed my clutch today on my `89 softail. Don`t forget it is a Left Hand thread...
