trans issues 99 flhr

  I'm working 99 flhr, Wondering if I have pull the whole trans or can I pull the gear cluster by its self

   Just like any HD 5 speed, but you have to pull off the inner primary assembly, then tranny top to get the shift drum & forks out & then the cassett trap door with gears, the main output 5th gear stays in the tranny...Jeff
