Can one rebuild the starter solenoid using a rebuild kit with the solenoid in place (on a 1994 FLHR)?
One of the contact plate bolts face downwards towards the case and there is not a lot of room between the solenoid and the case.  Is there enough space to remove and replace that contact plate with the solenoid in place?  The instructions says to remove the starter, but...

As long as you can get a wrench on the nut and turn it.

Well, I guess that is my question - will I be able to?
It doesn't look like there is room for a socket there... There are two nuts, the "outer" locknut looks like one should be able to get a wrench on, but then there is a 2nd nut which sits "down" in a bushing that might be trickier to get too maybe?

I did the one on my heritage softail without removing the starter. I used a ratcheting wrench instead of a socket.
