ign. sensor plate

This a new motor.out of frame.Need to know where to position  ign. sensor plate. Can i use a ohm meter to get it close.When i put in bike, then i can dial it in.Just need starting point so it will fire up.Thanks

If you're using the OEM pickup, you can set it with the mounting studs centered on the slots and it should start.  Turn the plate clockwise to advance.
