I was thinking about mounting a power socket in the inner fairing of my Ultra for my GPS. Anyone have any good ideas other than the typical ciggy lighter socket??
I am an adult?? When did that happen, and how do I make it stop?!

You could stick the battery tender pigtail up there too.

Hardwire it to the unused HID connector behind the headlight and wire inline a two pole flat connector to remove it.

I like and use these in my fairings http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=265-274

Note, you don't have to use the rectangular plate. There are mating plugs available for these sockets http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=265-272, and they have a twist-lock feature to keep them from falling out. Any std GPS, Satellite, etc. plug designed to go into a car's lighter socket will work.
